Greetings CDM Fantasy Sports Affiliate,

Well, 2003 flew by and we're already headed for Valentine's Day. It's amazing how quickly the days and weeks seem to pass. We here at CDM Fantasy Sports hope you had a great 2003 and a joyous holiday season. It's now time to prepare for the 2004 fantasy sports year. Over the next three months, signups will occur for Baseball, Golf, College Basketball March Madness, Playoff Hockey, and Playoff Basketball. To see the best fantasy games to promote at this time, please review the list below.

QUARTERLY TIP
With 2004 underway, now is the time to review your web site and make changes for the new season. Page looks and displays become old over the course of twelve months. Even minor tweaks or changes can make dramatic visual improvements to your customer.

The same holds true with banners and how they are displayed. It surprises me how cluttered some web sites become over the course of twelve months with all the ads and affiliate banner links. You must remember that your customers don't come to your site to see those ads and banners. How you present them can have a profound effect on your customers' use of them.

Organize your Affiliate banners so that they are seen but don't dominate the page. Also, keep them fresh. Test them periodically to ensure they are active, up-to-date and in proper working order. Many have found that by having an "Affiliate of the Month" or "Featured Affiliate" with a short write-up has significantly helped their click-throughs.

Finally, remember that too many banners will cause your customer to ignore all of them because of the sheer volume. So be prudent in where and how many you display on each page.

GAMES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE TO PROMOTE
At the bottom of this newsletter, there is a summary of the six featured games that we recommend promoting now. Five are fantasy baseball games and one is a fantasy golf game. Of the five baseball games, two are rotisserie-style games (Diamond Challenge and Internet Challenge), and two are fantasy-point-style games (Fantasy Baseball 2004 and Budget Baseball). The 5th baseball game, Draft and Play Fantasy Baseball, features live online drafts and offers both rotisserie-style and fantasy-point-style leagues.

We also are offering a High Roller Fantasy Baseball game again this year with a $ 1000 entry fee. If you think this game may appeal to your customer base, please feel free to promote it. Banners and artwork are available via the CDM Affiliates website.

GAMES AVAILABLE TO PROMOTE IN THE COMING MONTHS
At the end of this newletter, there is a summary of the four upcoming games that will be available shortly and can be promoted within the next 4 to 6 weeks. IMPORTANT: Three of these four games have a very narrow window for promotion, and thus youÕll need to link to them as soon as theyÕre available in order to have an impact. These three games are:

Elite 8 College Basketball (available: Wed., March 3; deadline: Thu., March 18)
The Hockey News Playoff Challenge (available: Mon., March 15; deadline: Wed., April 7)
Playoff Basketball Challenge (available: Fri., March 19; deadline: Fri., April 16)

The fourth game, Tour Trade II Fantasy Golf, will be available Friday, March 26. Its entry deadline is Wednesday, June 23, and thus there is a 3-month window available for promotion.

By clicking on each gameÕs logo in the summary table, you can easily go to its website to access the complete rules, pricing, and prizes.

As a reminder, to promote a game and receive credit for the entries you generate, you must first put the banners and artwork on your website and link them to our games with your affiliate code. To do this, visit the CDM Affiliates website and use the Graphics and Artwork and Linking Instructions pages. Please feel free to contact us if you are having any problems with this.

We here at CDM Fantasy Sports hope you have found this newsletter helpful. We look forward to a long and satisfying relationship with you. Should you have any questions or should there be any information which you would like covered in future newsletters, please contact Stephen M. Parker at sparker@cdmsports.com.
